Our Communities:

Smiles for Literacy — Mitola Family Dentistry
It is known that children who read at home have a higher success rate in school. Dr. Mitola is committed to improving the lives of the citizens of Cohoes and the surrounding communities. In an effort to accomplish this mission, the office has established the Smiles for Literacy book donation program. The donated books are rewards to students, encouraging positive behavior as part of the Cohoes School Districts (CSD) character education and PBIS program. The goal of the Smiles for Literacy program is to provide a book to every CSD student and improve students’ academic performance and quality of life.

For each dental cleaning performed at the office of David Mitola, DDS, one book will be donated to a student in the Cohoes School District. Thanks to all of our patients who have dental cleanings, they will improve a student’s academic and character development.
