Your First Visit Here; What to Expect:

Your first dental appointment is a chance for the dentist to get to know you and your teeth. Here's what usually happens:

1. Check-In

You'll fill out the missing required forms
Bring your insurance card and ID

2. Meet the Dental Team

• A dental hygienist or assistant will welcome you and guide you through the visit.

• You'll meet the dentist, who will talk with you about any concerns or goals you have for your smile.

3. X-Rays

X-rays are updated to see what’s going on beneath the surface of your teeth and gums.

4. Dental Exam

The dentist will examine your teeth, gums, and mouth, checking for cavities, gum disease, and other oral health issues.

5. Cleaning (if time allows)

The hygienist may do a cleaning to remove plaque and tartar if indicated by the dentist. The time required and the type of dental cleaning is determined by the length of time since your last cleaning, the health of your gums, and other factors. If a cleaning is not completed the office will schedule a visit for a future date.
